The hotel provides a good service. The room is nicely furnished, spotless comes with aging interior as well as wine. The property offers a great selection of food that was amazing! The staff are very helpful and deserve a 4-star rating. This hotel offers good location just off the center of Birmingham and Birmingham Shops and Restaurants and Birmingham.

Attended a wedding held at the Townsend - appetizers, dinner etc were excellent as well as the wait staff. My room was lovely and appreciated that the gym was open 24 hours. One surprise was that the tub was higher than normal bathroom tubs in homes and I banged my knee but it was my fault.

Room was luxurious and Hotel is classic
Heaing system in room is antiquated and very noisy-needs replacement.

The charge for Internet access is in my judgement is an amenity that should be included free of charge at luxury hotels like the Towsand. Just raise your basic room rate enough to generate the equivalent of the Internet fees you currently realize and stop nickel and dimeing your cliental.

Very good property. Trying to be old world. Very good , but not enough to justify the price.
The price. The hotel is good but not enough to justify the price.

We had such a blast at the HUB Stadium nearby, enjoying some football-themed fun with the whole family. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere. Staying with my adult kids, it was a hit!
My wife says that the pool could use more family-friendly hours.
